This idea is genius: Take a well-known work of art and re-create it using live people, props, and sets. As part of the “Remake” project, booooooom.com posted submissions showing the original pieces and the installations created.
The remake project would make a fantastic lesson for an art class; instruct students to choose an art piece, work in pairs or small groups, then use props, costumes, lights, and cameras to recreate it and take photographs. You could even have a live ”museum” show and invite viewers to come see their work!
