Artist Spotlight: Dalton Ghetti

Dalton Ghetti first came across my radar when I saw his work featured on an episode of “Conan,” and I just can’t get enough of his tiny, intricate sculptures. Ghetti spends months carving away at a single pencil tip without a microscope(!) to create his works of art. Interestingly, he does not sell his work, but usually gives them as gifts to friends and family members. Additionally, he keeps peices that break on accident, because of the valuable time he spent on them. Dalton must have the eyes of a hawk and an incredible amount of patience! I commend thee.

Amazing! If he can create works of art using an object as ordinary as a pencil, just imagine what other objects just lying around your house could end up as!
