Artist Spotlight: Brittany Powell and Tae Kitakata

http://platform.twitter.com/widgets/hub.1326407570.html

I came across this awesome article on Flavorwire about two artists, Brittany Powell and Tae Kitakata who started Low Commitment Projects, a pretty neat self-explanatory blog. In this entry, the former art-school friends turned sandwiches into works of art inspired by famous artists. Talk about turning your lunch into art! I am tempted to make art-inspired lunches for school… but then I might not want to eat them!

Take a peak:

Mondrian Sandwich

Georgia O’Keefe

Damien Hirst

Jackson Pollock

Jasper Johns

Gustav Klimt

Duchamp

Rothko

These sandwiches all perfectly capture the style of the artist that inspired them! LOVE!

Have a great rest of your week!

xoxo
