Welcome to my blog!
My name is Lauren and I’m a recent college grad, high school substitute art teacher, drawing instructor, and all-around lover of art, crafts, anything handmade or vintage, fashion, photography, nature, cute and creepy things, movies, and pop culture.
This blog is where I post about creative inspiration, art/art education, tutorials, tips, my daily life and travelling adventures, photography, DIY, food, fashion, and my adventures in crafting.
I love to read your comments and respond to them! One of the great things about blogging is the chance to interact with people with similar interests from all over the country/world, and share ideas! You, my readers, are very important and it’s so great to communicate with you, because you all inspire me too!
If you would like to contact me via email, feel free to send me a message at email@example.com

How long have you been into the arts? The arts have been an integral part of my life since, well… probably as early as I can remember! Since the day I could hold a crayon, I knew art was was I was born to do. When I was in elementary school, I was awarded with a Reflections in the Arts award, and to this very day I display the little trophy in my studio to remind me to keep working on staying creative, and it will pay off.
What is your favorite art medium? Pretty much all forms of art are amazing… but I’ve always been partial to 3D sculpture and painting.
What kind of things do you like to make for your etsy shop? Kitschy beaded whimsical jewelry, felted critters, and polymer clay figurines.
What’s your favorite inspirational quote? There are really so many out there that are purely inspirational, but one of my favorites comes from painter Edgar Degas: ” Art is not what you see, but what you make others see. “
